Gallaudet University Campus Plan 2022
"Dangermond Keane and Stantec recently completed Gallaudet University’s 2022 Campus Plan. Coupled with the DeafSpace Guidelines that DKa helped develop, the 2022 Master Plan provides a rigorous framework for future campus development. From this Master Plan a new architectural and planning vocabulary for Gallaudet University will emerge. It will be rooted in the rich legacy of Gallaudet’s past, expressive of Deaf culture, and reaching towards the future helping Gallaudet build on its legacy as an international Deaf Cultural Center" (Dangermond Keane Architecture).

"Working with Gallaudet, DKA developed a concept plan to transform the south west corner of the campus, connecting it to the surrounding neighborhood and creating new spaces for collaboration and research based on the Deaf-gain concept" (Dangermond Keane Architecture).

"Gallaudet Interpreting Services (GIS) is a renowned American Sign Language interpreting agency that serves the Gallaudet community and the general Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Consolidating the entire organization in to one contiguous space for the first time, Dangermond Keane is designing new offices for 50 staff interpreters as well as the GIS scheduling and mentoring departments" (Dangermond Keane Architecture).
