Market Research Reports

Market research reports can help you determine possible business opportunities, including identifying trends, competitive analysis, existing or emerging markets.

Consumer data is an important component of your market research. Find demographic information such as age, income, education levels, and behavioral information of your potential consumer base.

Industry research can provide you with valuable information on: trends, competitors, consumers, regulations, new products, operating conditions, distribution and supply chains, and financial outlooks.

A Note on SIC/ NAICS Codes

NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) and SIC (Standard Industry Classification) are codes that group together companies of similar industries and sectors, such as retail trade, manufacturing or information technology..

Note: SIC was used by the Canadian and United States governments until 1987, when both countries adopted NAICS. Some  databases continue to use SIC.

Company Profiles

Companies might be your competitors, potential customers, or partners. Search company profiles in the databases and directories listed below. You can use directories to identify competitors by industry, products, etc; search annual reports, corporate filing and/or article databases for competitor strategies and business environment risks.
