How to Register for a NNELS Account
As a member of the Novanet Library Consortium, the Patrick Power Library is a partner to the National Network for Equitable Library Service (NNELS).
Eligible users include individuals with print disabilities or people acting on their behalf. Print disabilities include vision, mobility, and comprehension impairments that prevent individuals from being able to read a print book.
To register, Saint Mary's patrons may contact the Library's Access Services Department at access@smu.ca. If eligible to register, a NNELS patron status will be added to the individual's library account.
After registering, patrons may log into the NNELS website with Novanet credentials to obtain access to a variety of accessible titles.
Note: the NNELS collection is not available via the Novanet catalogue. Patrons must access titles directly though the NNELS website.
